Palliative Care Suite Project 2023.
Funds are being raised for our major project, to build a second palliative care suite in our home. Our palliative care suite on the second floor was built in 2006. Now we are building one on the first floor. This project will bring comfort to families and residents like the Mahaney family during end of life care.
The Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception made a gift of $50,000 toward the Palliative Care Suite Project at our 50th Anniversary Gala Celebration on October 29, 2022.

Music Therapy.

New Brunswick has the fastest aging population in the country, and the government is only able to help provide the necessities of life.
Any extras, to make our seniors “home away from home” more comfortable, are provided by our Foundation. One of our wishes is to provide music therapy sessions. You can see how much this benefits our frail and elderly. These sessions are $50 an hour. We have 150 residents. A $350 gift provides one day of sessions with this music therapist. $4200 would provide one day every month. $18,500 would provide one day a week for a year.
