Don Mitchener has pledged $15,000 to our nightstand project with matching donations. For every $1500 we raise, he will match it!

Marcia Sherwood donated $1240 for a new nightstand on Garden Court in memory of her husband Carl.
|
The new nightstands match our wardrobes and new headboards, and replace these 50+ year old dressers, with more larger, lockable built-in units that allow for more one-on-one bedside care or residents.

Help get our wheels rolling with a new mini wheelchair van.

Anita Turner borrowed the keys to our mini van at least once a week to take her husband out. They appreciated being able to be mobile.

Our mini wheelchair van is 15 years old and it's time to get new wheels so we can get rolling again.

- Music Therapy Sessions $50 per hour improves socialization, memory, creates sense of togetherness, boosts mood and oxygen flow
- Donate your time to visit, help feed at meal time, or transport to activities Priceless!
- Art Supplies & Treats & Recreation Activities & Prizes $200
- Rehab & Fall prevention equipment to cushion bony areas and prevent pressure sores - such as fluidized positioners which cost $250 a pair
- Glide Tubes to reposition Residents in wheelchairs, knee abductor pads to provide cushioning support which cost $75 each.
- Ventopedic boots to reduce pressure on heels and moisture control to promote healing and reduce infection which are $350 per pair.
- $50 per month or $600 will provide Bingo prizes for the year
- $200 provides 4 hours per week of Music Therapy sessions
- $1200 provides a Staff Appreciation luncheon for 240 staff
- $200 will provide four gift cards for Employee Appreciation giveaways on each court
- $1000 will place your logo on our 18 passenger wheelchair bus to provide outings for the year
- $1200 provides welcome baskets for new residents annually
- $500 will place your logo on our mini van which takes residents to appointments
- $2000 provides Christmas parties at a cost of $500 x 4 courts
- $500 will purchase sensory stimulation actiities, crafts, tea sets, colouring, balls, picture books, checkers, playing cards, magazines
- $500 will take 30 residents out for an ice cream
- $500 will host a BBQ for residents
- $15000 will purchase a snoezelen mobile cart to bring relaxing multi sensory environment whever needed with solar led projector, buble tube, multi sound machine, aroma diffuser, essential oils, tactile awareness box
